Customer had a flooded crawlspace. Found several issues that were contributing to the issue. Whole home regulator was a sharkbite regulator and as not functioning properly. Replaced it with a high quality watts unit to properly regulate water pressure. Customers t & p valve had opened and as running which was source of ater flooding crawlspace. Customer explained that company that installed water heater 2 years ago adjusted temperature one the elements. Temperature increase could be cause for t & p valve to open Customer also has a sump pump present in crawlspace that did not function as it should to pump out the water that was flooding crawlspace. Explained to customer that sump pump was also installed with no check valve or shut off valve which should be there. Customer chose to contact previous companies that installed water heater and sump pump to make necessary repairs to resolve issue since they should still be under warranty.
