Performed inspection

Replaced leaking water heater with new 12 year warranty Rheem water heater. Also replaced kitchen faucet and both straight stops for said faucet.

Sump pump at driveway Is not pumping out to the road and is getting clogged up at the pit and whenever it rains hard water floods up the driveway and goes down to the garage and floods it. Homeowner has a 1/2 HP sump pump and we will need to replace it with a 1 HP Sump pump/Grinder pump due to it being undersized. I let homeowner know we will need to have drain team out to camera the line and potentially jet the line due to it being clogged up or replacing the pipe. Left homeowner quote to replace the Sump Pump Only and told them that there will be another quote by drain team about the pipe to see if they got to camera it, jet it, or replace the whole pipe going to the road. If homeowner agrees with both quotes we will need both drain team and the service tech out on the same day.
He described the problem and fixed it. He also presented a discount coupon that we were able to use.

Today I replaced a bad switch in the main level bathroom that controls the vanity light and I also changed two overrated breakers at the main electrical panel. They are circuit numbers 17 and 19. I made the homeowner aware of three more breakers that are not UL listed to be in the panel. He denied these repairs at this time.
I would highly recommend TE Plumbing they were professional, nice and affordable.

Pulled toilet and inspected flange. Both sides of flange were broken. Cut out old flange and replaced with new PVC flange. Installed new toilet bolts. Set toilet and installed shims to ensure the toilet it level and sturdy. Finished with caulking toilet base to tile.
Service was good.

Customer called us out for a clogged toilet. His son had flushed the top half of a water bottle down the toilet. I end the closet auger first and was unsuccessful in retrieving it. Then I pulled and reset the toilet. Replaced the shims, supply line and wax ring. Tested toilet to ensure it worked and there were no leaks.

Replaced two switches

Upon arrival, the homeowner showed us to the kitchen faucet that had restricted flow. With customers approval, we performed troubleshooting on the faucet and plumbing system To identify the cause of this issue. We found several pieces of the old multi-turn service stop washer, clogging the faucet and restricting flow. we will return on Monday to complete service stop replacement. The home owner has declined faucet replacement at this time.

Upon arrival the homeowner showed us to the disposal located in the kitchen that was not operating properly due to jammed impeller, and the upstairs hallway bathroom where the tub spout diverter was stuck in the shower position. With customers approval we disconnected and removed the disposal and installed a new badger 5 disposal. we then disconnected and removed the old tub spout and installed a new diverter tub spout. We tested and confirmed proper function of both items no further issues detected. During work we found the water temperature to be in excess of 140degrees. We lowered the temperature of both water heaters and confirmed new temperature at 120 degrees.

System not cooling - 12 year old Goodman gas furnace & AC Main Level System During the system evaluation I I observed the the electromagnetic contactor is burnt and pitted. The compressor run winding is out of spec and reading lower than manufacturer parameters, the dual capacitor that powers the fan and compressor is very weak. The condenser coil is dirty, impacted with dirt/debris. The blower wheel in the furnace is dirty as well, impacted with dust/dirt. The flame sensor and the igniter are both chalky and weak. All components on the equipment are original and outdated. How are components generally last around 10 years. Builder grade equipment has a life expectancy of 8 to 12 years on average. I went over the repair options and explained no repairs could guarantee any certain amount of life, as the equipment has already exceeded average life expectancy. This being said, updating the system vs repairs is recommended for reliability. At this time the homeowner chose options A to co

Install gfci breaker for garage instead of gfci receptacle Replace 4 ge standard breakers and replace with Siemens. Replace standard two-pole square d breaker with Siemens

Customer has main service line leak outside the house. The water was running along the foundation wall and came back in through the side door. I dug up at the wall penetration and found a 1 x 3/4 sharkbite coupling that had broken. These fittings are not allowed by code buried without the additional clear tape that is specifically designed for them. I also located a 3/4 elbow sharkbite on the line closer to the foundation wall. I removed both of these fittings and replaced with Pex brass fittings. I pressurized the water and verified after 5 minutes no leaks. Then pressurized the house. Thank You for Choosing TE Certified Plumbing

Upon arrival, the Homeowner showed us to the kitchen where there was no refrigerator icemaker supply line. During evaluation, we also discovered the main water service enters the home at the very back corner at the furthest point from the crawlspace entrance. With homeowners approval, we installed a new 1/2” waterline and ice maker box located behind the refrigerator, we also ran 60 feet of waterline to relocate the main shut off valve and PRV to the garage for better accessibility to the homeowner. After completing all work, we pressurize the system and tested to confirm function, no further issues detected at this time.

Wonderful service.
Hired TE Certified for EV charger install, whole house surge protection, and service upgrade to house after getting 3 quotes. Booking an appointment to get a quote was quick and easy. Andrew showed up promptly and provided a competitive quote with a detailed explanation of the work included. The work started same day and was completed in an efficient, clean and professional manner. Andrew communicated well throughout and always took time to answer any questions I had along the way. Contacting the TE Certified office as needed was also quick and friendly. Will definitely call on them again for future needs.

Mason Blum deserves a raise. He was professional and determined. This was a huge, multi-day job in freezing weather. He even stayed until 8:30pm one night working until the power company got to us on their call list for power hookups. We appreciate his high standards so much.
Albert was my HVAC technician. He is very knowledgeable, kind and explains information in a straightforward way. Albert was courteous by using shoe covers before he entered my home. Very thorough and found the cause of the issue in a timely manner. I will definitely use TE again!

This company is awesome. This is my third time using them. Their pricing is awesome. They’re not greedy like other plumber companies.
1st time using this company. 1st dispatch, Dane was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and helpful! 2nd dispatch, Edwin was also incredible! Super nice guy, very polite and well spoken. Great customer service!!
Technician explained all steps in detail you can understand. Performed the work efficiently.
Top quality job Kept me informed on the progress of the work Install cutoff valve in key places for me to turn off the water Made great suggestions on my RODI system.
The Electrician was excellent across the board, the problem came during the discussion of the pricing model. Very manipulative upselling. I have tons of electrical work that needs to be done but I won’t be forced to pay more for work in order to pay a fair price for ad hoc services. I give you a A for the work completed and an F for your attempts to upsell me for work that I didn’t call you for. I overpaid for the work completed because I could but I’ll be buying my new AC/Furnace from an organization I can trust. The electrician was top notch…the organization? Not so much.
Great service
Great, professional job!
Excellent professionalism and service. We had a difficult problem and Mason was able to isolate it and recommend repair options. We would highly recommend Mason and this company.
Fantastic. I initially submitted the wrong info bc I didn't know where the leak was coming from. However, when I found out, I texted immediately and they moved my appt up. Sent someone out who stayed until well after midnight trying to fix the issue. Then came back the next morning to finish it.
