Client has multiple leaks behind the water heater on the CPVC water tubing. Client also has a leak on the union to the PRV. The gate valve has been pinched by the water heater and it can hardly be turned on. Recommend client re-pipe the CVC line with copper to remedy all the leaks. Recommend client also install new thermal expansion tank due to a ruptured tank. Installed new main ball valve, thermal expansion tank, PRV, front hose bib isolation valve, and water heater isolation valve. Tested with no leaks. Documented all work with pictures.

Call back for whole home system, found water in the drain pan and tripped wet switch. Found the drain line clogged. I cleared the drain line with nitrogen and then filled the drain line back up with water and cleared it one more time with nitrogen. Tested drain line after flush, system operating at this time. Also renewed customer for home care monthly plan.

Perform full system homecare on upstairs, main floor and basement system. Upstairs and basement systems were both heat pumps so tested the heat strip kit, replace the filters, and cleared the drain lines. While testing the systems found subpar flood protection. Tested the main floor system and heating and cooling, change the filter, and clear the drain line. The condensate pump for the main floor system, extremely dirty, and not pumping, the capacitor, low, and condenser coil very dirty. Today we cleaned the condenser coil, condensate pump, and replaced the capacitor. All systems operating at this time.

Complete system evaluation by the time of arrival client mentioned that he relocated the thermostat burning out the fuse. He asked me to do an evaluation on the system because he hasn’t been serviced for the past two years after evaluating the air handler. Find out that there’s a lot of growth in the blower motor blower wheel and also the evaporator coil system is condensating a lot through the outside Drain not condensing drain line we had to be redone. Also, air handler is equipped with a straight cool condenser will have to be replaced with a condenser heat pump

Gavin had a big, muddy, messy job that required digging and replacing underground plumbing parts out at my barn. I needed a new shutoff valve to turn the water on and off. The old valve was plastic, and I finally broke it because it was on so tight that I had to use whatever tools I could find to get it open. The new, sturdier brass parts he installed made it much easier for me to open without having to force anything. This is especially important because I have to open this valve about once a week. After he and his assistant were finished, they raked up all the dirt around the new box and smoothed it out neatly, so I didn’t have to clean up after them. It works great and it looks great. It wasn’t a cheap job, but it needed to be done and it was done very well.

My tech texted prior to his arrival and he was on time for my appointment. He fully explained what my problem was and provided an estimate for the work. He completed the work while he was at my house. My tech is knowledgeable, proficient, and very courteous. This is the 3rd time I have used TC Electric and all visits have gone very well.
