Job Locations and Reviews

Arrived on a site to install ceiling fans. The homeowner had two ceiling fans he wanted installed in the upstairs rooms. Once I took the old fixtures down, I noticed the boxes were not fan rated. I installed two fan rated boxes and install the new ceiling fans. I also installed a new pull chain keyless fixture in the basement storage room. The old light was constantly on. The homeowners wanted to get their entry light replaced but noticed that the new fixture would hang down too low and hit the front door. They will have us back out in the future to install a new fixture. I also discussed some concerns with their challenger panel. I gave them options to resolve the issue. I also discussed installing hardwired smoke detectors in all the required areas of the home. I walked the homeowner through the finished work and he is happy with everything.

We came back out today due to the circuit for the kitchen lights still tripping. The customer stated that the lights were off and the breaker was tripped while they were out last night. We laid plastic down on the kitchen island and removed the (3) pendants from the ceiling and completed the following work: *Removed the brackets and checked the insulation of the wiring on the hot and neutral wires. We found at the left and center light had copper showing on both the hot and neutral wires. This could have been due to pinching the wires between the bracket and box or removing the outer jacket (done by contractor) and they did not pay attention. They also used tan wire nuts which could have lead to pinching of the wires as well. We applied electrical tape around the damaged area of the conductors and laid them in the box to ensure no additional strain was created. We also removed the tan wire nuts and used smaller orange ones. *While the fixtures were on the ground we inspected the wi

Arrived on site to replace smoke detectors throughout the home. The homeowner supplied all of the smoke detectors. I replaced 5 smokes and 4 carbon/smoke detectors in the home. I also swapped batteries in three wireless smoke detectors in the home. I tested the smoke detectors and all are working properly.

Perform two system home care, replaced (1) 16 x 25 x 1 filter. The upstairs system was having issues with the condenser fan motor, pulling high amps and making a really loud squealing noise while running. Today I replaced the condenser fan motor and the condenser fan blades to ensure that the system is operating properly. Tested the main floor system and made recommendations to improve the systems overall health. At this time, both systems are operating properly.

I was called out to Dominic‘s house for a cooling issue. Dominic moved in about 4 months ago so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered that the system was installed in 2010 making it past life expectancy, single stage which doesn’t work well with zoning, the zoning is very old and never had all the parts needed to work properly, the flood protection is minimal, the evaporator coil is leaking refrigerant, the ac needs cleaned, and the condenser fan motor has significant play in the bearings. Due to the incorrect application, missing parts, and old age replacement is a viable option.

Cleared mainline blockage through outside cleanout. Ran k750 out to the sewer. Ran machine 3 times and verified proper drainage though the powder room and kitchen. Possible root infiltration towards 6” cleanout.

Upon arrival, the customer showed us to the stain in the ceiling of the living room. This is the same area As the previous leak repaired by Evan Wheeler. We performed a thorough evaluation and determined the source of the leak was from an unsealed tub spout in the upstairs guest bathroom. As a courtesy, we set a new seal of silicone around the tub spout to prevent future leakage. During safety inspection, we identified the water heater is 21 years old, located in the back of the hallway closet behind an access panel under the stairs, The static water pressure to the home was 130 psi and the home did not have a thermal expansion tank on the system. With customers approval, we installed a thermal expansion tank and pressure regulator to resolve these issues. Due to the age of the electric water heater, we strongly recommend replacement to avoid future issues.

I was called out to Gayle’s house for a Homecare maintenance. They have lived here since it was built in 2019 so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered that both systems need their flood protection updated, the flue for the main system is single wall, and the coil upstairs has insulation stuck to it underneath. For better air quality and to keep the systems as clean as possible there are air quality products that can be added on. Today I cleaned the ac coils and extended the drain for the upstairs system further out.

Installed a new chandelier on a 2 story ceiling in the foyer and added a dimmer switch.

There was nothing wrong with the original faucet that the last tech installed in the powder room. The homeowner wanted to replaced the powder room faucet because the homeowner wanted a different color to it. I tested everything and checked for leaks.

Repaired failed vacuum breakers on hose spigots. Reattached hose and tested for leaks.

ReInstalled gas tank type water heater due to water heater not being up to code and changed out pressure regulator due to fluctuation and pressure. installed and checked for leaks recommended homeowner to get roofer out and change vent hood for exhaust on water heater.

We came out today after the closet was built to install the (3) new location receptacles in the closet. The homeowner and the closet company had requested to have the (3) receptacles installed at the following locations: *Left hand side at bottom in the pull down cabinet *In the center at the bottom left *Right hand cabinet with the three drawers at the bottom drawer We came off the master bathroom receptacle on the right side of the sink to feed power to the new location receptacles. The customer will be using these devices for hair dryers, charging stations etc. I informed the homeowner to be mindful about having multiple small appliances plugged in due to possible over loading the circuit. This circuit is being controlled by a single pole 20 amp breaker circuit # 5. With the customers approval we had to make (3) cuts into the drywall due to accessibility in trying to fish the wires. We made sure to clean everything up to the customers satisfaction. We tested all the devices befor

Once we opened up panel cover we noticed that the mr sparky surge pro is tied into incorrect breaker, what we can do is remove breaker and tie into dryer breaker and open up space for new oven line, this option is viable if panel is replaced in near future, main electrical panel had double tapped neutrals with grounds. The main electrical panel is a sylvania with challenger breakers, need to replace panel in future.

We did a troubleshoot for the breaker tripping issue in the kitchen We redid connections in switch box in kitchen. The connections were loose. We also replaced damaged breaker in the main electrical panel.

Completed comprehensive AC tune-up on Trane XR17 system in Woodstock residence. Cleaned condenser coils, checked refrigerant levels (optimal), and replaced standard air filter with high-MERV allergen filter. Electrical connections were secure with minimal wear. Calibrated thermostat for improved efficiency and tested all operational modes. System is running at 94% efficiency after service. Recommended quarterly filter changes due to pet presence. Unit should perform excellently through peak summer months.

I was called out to John’s house for a heating issue. They have lived here for over 20 years so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we didn’t discover a reason for the system to not be heating but the furnace was from 2003 making well past normal life expectancy. After speaking with John we discovered that the issue was just a safety that the system uses to protect itself but was normal operation. Due to the cost of potential repairs, lack of warranty, and for reliability replacement is a viable option.

Had a furnace inspection. Tech showed up on time and noticed issues with the exhaust vent that 3 other inspectors missed that were a safety issue. He drove back to the warehouse to get the parts and repaired it. The blower had apparently never been cleaned. The tech cleaned the blower until I couldn’t tell that it was not brand new.
