Troubleshoot power loss in back bedrooms, bathroom and one device in living room. The issue was located on circuit #12 due to the breaker appearing to be on when it was actually tripped. The breaker tripping is due to overloading conditions being (2) space heaters, (1) in the bedroom and (1) in the living room that are on the same circuit. I made the customer aware that the circuit breaker is a 20 amp and the wire attached is a 15 amp rated wire. I left options to correct the panel.
I came out today and meet with Sid due to an issue with power loss in the garage. In the garage a gfci has been installed just beneath the panel where the power indicator light was on but the device would buzz when trying to reset. I looked into situation and found that a low voltage camera system and a insta-hot where plugged into the device next to the garage door. On the other wall there is another gfci that had no power. After replacing the gfci beneath the panel it had tripped again so I went over to the other device and pulled it out of the wall to check. The box has a dead end and by removing this gfci the one beneath the panel was able to reset. I replaced the other gfci with a standard dev ie and put a sticker on to the plate. The panel is located in the garage and is type BR, 200 amp main lug and the circuit associated with the gfci circuit is #37. The label says that the circuit controls the garage receptacles along with the outdoor receptacles. I went around the home to
Inspected system not heating the main floor. Scheduled for an install supervisor to build a quote for a new system 12-3
29 Year old Bryant Gas Furnace & AC System is locked out on high limit / flame roll out fault. I removed the high limit and it is very burnt and charred, homeowner present for this inspection. The inducer fan wheel has broken and fell off the assembly, the inducer bearings have failed and the Inducer is not reaching full RPM. This can be dangerous due to the inducers job is to pull the exhaust and flames through the heat exchanger and force them out the exhaust pipe. I used my bore scope camera to inspect the heat exchanger and observed multiple cracks in the heat exchanger. The biggest crack is located right below the high limit switch, the homeowner was present to see this life on my inspection camera. I explained the situation of a cracked heat exchanger and recommended not using the thermostat. When I returned power to the furnace it came on and flames rolled out during ignition. I turned the system off at the thermostat and advised against using the heat as this furnace is dange

Return for cover up, laundry connect and air admittance valve. Homeowner decided not to permit work
At arrival on 01/21/2025 found the MAIN FLOOR system with the following symptoms. Issue: no heat System: main floor Finding: crack in heat exchanger causing the flame to burn around the burners causing rollout to trip. Weak blower capacitor and motor, dirty blower wheels, dirty flame sensor, no wet safety switch. Recommendations: upgrade furnace. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Arrived on site to troubleshoot light fixtures not working and breaker tripping periodically when phone charger is plugged in. We replaced four existing flood lights with customer supplied flood lights. These are motion flood which can also be controlled by a remote. We installed a new decora stack switch in the master bathroom for the recessed lights and bath fan. We also replaced the existing bedroom outlet breaker with a new GE 20 amp dual function. Everything is working upon departure.
Today I came out to troubleshoot a tripping breaker. To fix the issue I ran a new 20 amp, dual function protected circuit to two new outlets in the basement bathroom.
Replaced inducer motor and got system up and running.
Replace generator load shed module for Air Handler.
Swap tankless water heater with new navien NPE-240A2. Removed old unit. Installed new navien. New shutoff valve, new gas drip leg and union on tankless, new expansion tank and check valve. Moved exhaust vent over and drilled new hole to keep exhaust more than 3’ from the door and 12 inch from intake. Filled all holes and spray foam or silicone to seal. Checked for leaks and cleaned up job site.
On the left side of the garage supply and install a new 50 amp inlet for a portable generator. I gave the homeowner an option to either cut a strip of the drywall wall so the cable assembly can be in the studs or to install conduit. Supply and install a small sub-panel with a manual transfer switch on the cover just to the left of the main panel. We will also provide proper wiring and breakers as needed to transfer circuits over. Wire in a new 50 amp inlet to the home utilizing a #6 conductor. We will supply and install a new min breaker for the main lug panel and supply and install an interlock kit for the panel cover. Customer does not want conduit installed nor blank plates on the wall. He is requesting to have the drywall removed, wires ran through the studs and then the drywall put back in place. When power is lost to the home wait for a bit to see if it comes back on and if it doesn’t then follow the steps below. -Running Generator- *At the main panel shut off all the break
