Job Locations and Reviews
Arrived on site to troubleshoot light fixtures not working and breaker tripping periodically when phone charger is plugged in. We replaced four existing flood lights with customer supplied flood lights. These are motion flood which can also be controlled by a remote. We installed a new decora stack switch in the master bathroom for the recessed lights and bath fan. We also replaced the existing bedroom outlet breaker with a new GE 20 amp dual function. Everything is working upon departure.
Today I came out to troubleshoot a tripping breaker. To fix the issue I ran a new 20 amp, dual function protected circuit to two new outlets in the basement bathroom.
Replaced inducer motor and got system up and running.
Replace generator load shed module for Air Handler.
Swap tankless water heater with new navien NPE-240A2. Removed old unit. Installed new navien. New shutoff valve, new gas drip leg and union on tankless, new expansion tank and check valve. Moved exhaust vent over and drilled new hole to keep exhaust more than 3’ from the door and 12 inch from intake. Filled all holes and spray foam or silicone to seal. Installed cross over tee for recirculating mode and purged all air from the system before testing tankless. Did full set up and ran hot water to make sure it was working. Checked for leaks and cleaned up job site.
On the left side of the garage supply and install a new 50 amp inlet for a portable generator. I gave the homeowner an option to either cut a strip of the drywall wall so the cable assembly can be in the studs or to install conduit. Supply and install a small sub-panel with a manual transfer switch on the cover just to the left of the main panel. We will also provide proper wiring and breakers as needed to transfer circuits over. Wire in a new 50 amp inlet to the home utilizing a #6 conductor. We will supply and install a new min breaker for the main lug panel and supply and install an interlock kit for the panel cover. Customer does not want conduit installed nor blank plates on the wall. He is requesting to have the drywall removed, wires ran through the studs and then the drywall put back in place. When power is lost to the home wait for a bit to see if it comes back on and if it doesn’t then follow the steps below. -Running Generator- *At the main panel shut off all the break
Repair tankless water heater with warranty replacement heat exchanger. Parts were in very rough condition. Upon trying to get in touch with rinnai about a replacement, customer asked about replacement. Gave pricing for replacement of their unit and they agreed.
During our visit, two gate valves replaced with ball valves. The rear hose bib was also replaced and secured to the house. All repairs were tested for leaks after completion.
Remodel rough in for kitchen and laundry including drain and water connections
Customer reported low pressure. After further diagnostics, found that the pressure regulator valve has gone bad. Replaced pressure regulator then tested and checked for leaks.
Returned to install 2 ApcoX UV systems, install 2 electronic air cleaners, 2 drain safety switches, and 2 customer provided Ecobee thermostats. Installed all products and tested them. Water is backing up into dishwasher when running kitchen sink. Appears to be due to improper installation of the drain. Estimate to: -Replace water heater and perform necessary code upgrades for water heater. -Replace sharkbite style pressure reducing valve -Replace cpvc and sharkbites under kitchen sink with pex and new pex shutoff valves -Replace rear hose bib -Repipe the portion of kitchen drainage located above floor level. -Install a new air admittance vent under ks. after all quoted work was completed we noticed that dishwasher supply line was leaking. The customer,er already had the dishwasher pulled out so we replaced supply as a courtesy. Note: customer states they will pull out the dishwasher so we can reroute drain for dishwasher if necessary and they will reinstall dishwasher. Performed work as per estimate.
Removed old delta shower valve in Hall bathroom and replaced with new delta shower valve.
Customer had a rusted out garbage
Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Completed 2 system home. Checked filters. Main floor needs changing. Cleaned pre filter screen. And dehumidifier filter. Homeowner is going to changed. Upstairs filter is good. Main floor blower wheel is dirty. Cleaned flame sensor. Blower motor capacitor is good. Tested heat. Furnace is operating properly. Upstairs unit blower wheel is clean. Filter is good. Cleaned dehumidifier filter. Cleaned flame sensor. Took amp draw on inducer motor it’s normal. Tested heat. Furnace is operating properly.

Upon arrival the customer showed us to the upstairs guest bathroom where the tub spout was whistling due to a faulty diverter washer. With customers approval we removed and replaced the tub spout. Tested function and found no further issues. Customer also expressed concern over flow issues related to calcium build up. We have provided filtration options to address this.
No heat-furnace is 1997 and is not keeping up, system has not been maintained and is in poor condition, customer was advised to leave system off due to 15-19 ppm of CO was picked up using a meter in the home. Based on my findings today, it is time to think about getting a brand new system.
Replaced three smoke/carbon detectors and five smoke detectors.
Replaced leaking PRV.
Repaired water service leak.
Installed 6 year warranty 50 gallon gas water heater Customer had a 12 year old water heater that would not stay lit. Recommended replacement due to age of heater. Informed customer of copper gas line supplying gas to heater. Did not replace gas line at this time. If any issues with copper gas line occurs in future it will not be covered by warranty under the scope of work performed today
Replace customer supplied devices in the following areas: *Master bathroom gfci *Back porch Gfci *Check kitchen lighting 3way switches After installing the GFCIs we tested to ensure they were working. The issue with the kitchen lighting was due to a faulty switch with weak stab in backs. The switch is located by the hallway in a 2g switch box
Basement remodel work: 1 .) ran 4 dedicated 20 amp circuits for a washer, cooktop, fridge, and basement kitchen receptacles. All the circuits we put in dual function breakers. 2.) we moved a 3 way switch to account for a new doorway. 3.) we added 3 new outlets 4.) we moved 3 outlets 5.) added 3 wafers on a new switch in basement kitchen 6.) added a wafer to the foyer on a new switch 7.) added a wafer to the closet on a new switch 8.) added 2 homeowner provided smokes. Tied in with the other smoke detectors. 9.) replaced 4 15amp breakers with 3 dual functions and 1 arc fault. 10.) eliminated an outlet in the newly constructed closet 11.) mover a phone jack.
