Found leak on lav drain in hallway bathroom. Found that EXISITNG transition fitting was not properly installed and was rigged in an attempt to make it work. Cut drywall to access drain pipe. Cut out bad section of drain, cut out hub, tied in to cast at point where quality of pipe was acceptable and ran pvc drain to underneath lav. Tied lav trap to new drain.

During my visit, the customer mentioned water was coming through the light fixture in the dining room. After removing drywall, I noticed the shower drain was leaking due to improper installation. A new fiberglass shower drain was installed and tested for leaks.

The guys did a magnificent job with removing the old cast iron pipes with PVC. The new pipes were run better than the old ones and the drains from the house into the basement updated. It was a pleasure hearing the explanations along the way. They were professional and did a great job!

Ryan did a terrific job! We began by going over the various tasks he planned. Explanations were clear and to the point. When the work was complete we went back over all of the electrical connections and everything was great. When I have any other issues with anything else he’s the man!

Original call reason was because the flue pipe was disconnected in attic space. After several attempts to reattach finally got the pieces to attach, found flue pipe is single wall and is corroded and weak that is why it disconnected because the flue pipe split and lost the original screws. No emergency pan under furnace, no flood protection on system. Ductwork is very sloppy and inefficient, it should be redone to help air flow and energy efficiency in home. Flue pipe connected to water heater is taped up and not done professionally. Boots are not insulated which will cause an issue in the summer time. Install supervisor will come quote replacement Monday morning. Quote for flue pipe replacement, duct changeout, and full 3 ton system up to proper code. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Installed existing water heater to current plumbing code requirements. Installed new shower valve in hall bath. Installed new hose bib and ran water line at carport. Installed new gas shut off valve on gas line in basement. Tested all for leaks and function, all good. We were unable to fix the incorrectly installed shower drain. The tile will need to be removed prior to the drain install. The tile contractor will install the shower pan once the drain is set. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.

I replaced thermostat, clean outdoor unit ,and cleaned indoor evaporator coil. I tested the thermostat by running the heat and the cool. The heat strips are working fine in the outdoor unit is cooling.

Your guys told us the work would be no more than $1,100 after seeing the previous work that wasn’t up to code. Then ask could they do a $150 inspection. Of course we said yes…$1,100 is a great price. After inspection, the total cost went up to $5,500. 5x times the $ amount. I asked what happened to the $1,100? He said he meant $11,000 not $1,000. If he would have said $11, 000, we wouldn’t have lost the $150 for the inspection. We would have gotten another quote, which is what we did. The work is now being completed at a more reasonable rate. We fell for the old bait and switch tactic. “We will come out for free.. Give you a bogus estimate, just to get the $150 inspection fee… They knew we did not want to pay that much, so they tricked us. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.
