Previous repair of upstairs indoor coil replaced last week. After finishing the coil job, I tested system in heat mode and tested defrost mode. Defrost would not engage and saw burn marks on the control board at the outdoor heat pump. Customer approved repair and returned to install defrost board on second floor system. System is heating properly at this time and heat strips are engaging during defrost mode.

Installed warranty evaporator coil for whole house system. Pressure tested system. Pulled complete vacuum. Charged 9 lbs. of 410A refrigerant. Tested heating and cooling. System is currently working.

Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns. Found oil at main floor indoor coil. System was completely flat. Quoted to replace coil and charge the system. Pressure tested for 15 minutes, pulled vacuum to below 500 microns and weighed in factory charge of 9 lbs.

Miscellaneous faucet repairs And two stop valves changed out

Customer has 6 y/o Rheem heat pump system that operates for whole house. System was not heating due to low pressure levels causing heat pump to lockout. Performed electronic leak search and found that evaporator coil is bad. Informed customer of findings. Evaporator coil must be ordered and checked to still be under possible warranty. System is currently using emergency heating.

Installed 2 6inch wafer lights in the master bedroom.

Troubleshoot w/ Repairs, New Switch leg

Performed 1 system diagnostics on a 2017 Trane heatpump amd air handler (zoned). The homeowner stated that the blower motor was consistently running and would not stop; even when the thermostats were set to "off" and the fan set to "auto" (at both thermostats). Findings: I found a ecm blower motor with a failed module. The module is telling the motor to constantly run. I removed all of the low voltage wires from the module; yet the motor will not stop running (see attached video). I also found that the purge overide button on the zoned board would not work; which means that the board is not completely working and may be intermittently failing or have other issues. I also found that there is black biological growth on the blower motor and wiring inside the air handler (showed pictures to the homeowner). I found that the secondary drain pan has a water safety switch witch is not a very reliable brand of water safety switch. I also found that the bypass damper is not set to .5" water co

Install doorbells and flood lights

Our client has a situation when his son takes a shower particularly this morning. There’s a leak on the main floor in the bathroom below. Once I arrive to the job site, the client walked me through to the bathroom. I did a test on the drain side of the tub And could not get any leaks. I did a test on the tub spout and the showerhead and got the same results. I also tested the toilet and the vanity in the bathroom. Cannot get a leak to happen downstairs. Last test was to fill the tub up to check the overflow drain And no leaks came from there either. I instructed the customer to watch the movement of his’s transitions into the shower and out of the shower to see if the leak will come back and to contact us once it shows
