Ashley had us out today because her system is not heating properly. Upon arrival Ashley informed us that The system started heating again, but they wanted to get it checked because it is cold outside and wanted to make sure that the system will heat. The system is from 2004 And we checked all electrical components and noticed that the flame sensor had a low reading. We also noticed that the inducer motor is getting close to maximum amps and will fail sooner than later. We also noticed some bacterial growth inside the unit and on the outside of the unit. Clean flame sensor and cycled system for proper operation.

Ryan had us out today to complete the home care for two systems inside the home. Both systems are from 2023 Brian informed us that he’s noticed that both of the systems have not been keeping up when it’s really cold outside. We inspected both thermostats which were ecobee’s and noticed that they were set incorrectly and only the heat pump was running on one system and auxiliary on the other one. Completed homecare maintenance for single system home. Tested fully from the thermostat. The indoor unit had a code saying that the auxiliary heat was running longer than it thinks it should. This was a setting inside the thermostat that needed to be changed and I reprogrammed it for the dual fuel style system the home has. Found the outdoor condenser coil is dirty and could use a cleaning. The drain line was clogged up and since the customer has had issues with this regularly, I recommend rerouting the drain and tying it into a plumbing stack. The system and the home could also benefit from adding air quality products.

As the years go by, I am not as sharp as I used to be. Thank goodness for T.E. Electric! I was making a simple wall light switch change in our dining room and could not get it to work! I bought a new one from a large retailer. I was getting frustrated but, I knew I had TE Electric that I could call. I have called them in the past and knew I could count on them now. They sent out a technician named Mike the same day that I called. Well, Mike was right on time and from the first time we talked, I knew he was a winner. Mike was very sharp. He asked simple questions and went through a thorough testing process. The result was…..the brand new switch I had bought was bad. There is no explanation for why but, he tested it, and showed me how the switch was not carrying the current. He offered to replace it, gave me a quote and five minutes later we were done! The great thing about this whole mixup is that I have renewed confidence in our electrical repair provider. I am retired, we have six grandchildren who visit us regularly, and I will never hesitate to call TE Electric the next time we have an electrical need. You should too!

Inspector system for airflow problems and found out the ductwork isn’t properly sized. Also the Plenum are not properly sized and recommend replacing both the ductwork and Plenum also found that the flue vent is tape at T and should be replaced to be one single flow to the outside also found no wet switch or safety switch on the system for better flood protection, and recommend indoor air quality products to keep the system and air cleaner.

I am so happy for the quick and professional repair to my ceiling light fixture that came apart as I was trying to replace the light bulb! I was given clear, concise and very reasonable pricing as well. All in all, it took maybe 15 minutes to complete the job! Very satisfied with the quality of service and friendly technicians. I do have one small complaint. One of the technicians broke one of my acoustic guitar cords.
