Tested system that has low airflow, and customer saw a high energy bill over the winter time. Fully tested the system and found due to lack of maintenance. The system is extremely dirty, including the ductwork, evaporator coil, and blower wheel. Also system was missing flood protections. Outdoor coil is also dirty. Today I cleaned the blower wheel, added SS1 in-line float switch, and we scheduled the duct cleaning to be done for a future date.

Clean indoor blower wheel and housing also mastic, sealed the Plenum and ductwork on the system put everything back together and test the system and everything is working as it should at this time.

Replaced evaporator coil and replaced filter dryer. Pulled a vacuum on system below 500 microns and recharged system with 9lbs of refrigerant. Tested fully in heat and cool and found no problems at this time.

Upon arrival technician inspected main level system only. Tech noticed dirty filter 20x25x1 this can cause airflow restriction to equipment allowing blower wheel to collect lots of dirt and motor leading to motor failure. Tech did notice blower wheel real dirty as well, furnace control board is showing warping this is signs of possible furnace ignition failure. Technician went over with homeowner about our Home Care maintenance plan to help keep both upstairs and downstairs systems serviced annually. Tech replaced upstairs filter 16x25x1 homeowner had provided. Main level system is operating at this time of visit. Customers are now on our Home Care plan. Completed repairs for system, repaired leak on compressor, fixed low pressure switch, cleaned outdoor condenser coil, installed new blower wheel and blower motor. Installed safety float switch devices on drain line and drain pan. Installed new 8 inch return and new 8 inch supply vent. Started system in both heat and ac mode. Found no issues in heat mode, in ac mode there was issues, evaporator coil is going to get changed out.

Replaced upper level evaporator coil under warranty. Installed UV BlueTube to target and prevent growth. Upgraded water protection to wet switch. Performed blower wheel cleaning. Charged 8 lbs. of 410A refrigerant to system. Tested heating, cooling, and emergency heating. System is currently working.

I completed an EV charger installation today, setting up a Level 2 charging station for a new electric vehicle. After performing a detailed load calculation of the home's electrical system, I installed a dedicated 50-amp circuit breaker and ran 6/3 wire through the garage wall. The ev charger installation required mounting a junction box at the optimal height for the charging cable, followed by proper grounding and weatherproofing of all connections. I programmed the smart charging features to take advantage of off-peak electricity rates and conducted multiple charging tests to verify proper amperage delivery. Before finishing, I provided detailed documentation of the installation and walked the homeowner through the charging procedure for their electric vehicle.

Jonathan had us out today because he noticed that anytime he tries to use his air conditioner He hears a buzzing noise similar to a Shot Clock. upon arrival, we noticed that there is a 13 year-old Goodman air conditioner on the side of the house. We tested all electrical components and noticed that the capacitor for the system has completely failed preventing the system from starting. We also noticed that the outdoor fan motor and contactor are worn out and will need a replacement. The outdoor condenser is very dirty and is recommended for a cleaning. We also recommend adding a UV light to prevent any bacterial growth inside of the system.

Performed HomeCare routine maintenance inspection on 2 y/o Goodman system that operates for whole house. Checked amp draws. Cleaned flame sensor. Cleared pressure switch tubing. Condensate drain line clear. Safeties are good. UV BlueTube operational. Blower wheel clean. Replaced 16x25x4 media filter. Standing pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are good. System is currently working.

Hubert is a highly skilled technician who quickly diagnosed our problems and then set about correcting them. It took two full days so I had the opportunity to interact with him quite a bit. Not only is he a first rate professional but he has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You are indeed fortunate to have him on your staff as he is a real credit to your organization.

As the years go by, I am not as sharp as I used to be. Thank goodness for T.E. Electric! I was making a simple wall light switch change in our dining room and could not get it to work! I bought a new one from a large retailer. I was getting frustrated but, I knew I had TE Electric that I could call. I have called them in the past and knew I could count on them now. They sent out a technician named Mike the same day that I called. Well, Mike was right on time and from the first time we talked, I knew he was a winner. Mike was very sharp. He asked simple questions and went through a thorough testing process. The result was…..the brand new switch I had bought was bad. There is no explanation for why but, he tested it, and showed me how the switch was not carrying the current. He offered to replace it, gave me a quote and five minutes later we were done! The great thing about this whole mixup is that I have renewed confidence in our electrical repair provider. I am retired, we have six grandchildren who visit us regularly, and I will never hesitate to call TE Electric the next time we have an electrical need. You should too!

I am so happy for the quick and professional repair to my ceiling light fixture that came apart as I was trying to replace the light bulb!
