Tested system that’s not heating for the upstairs level of the home. Thermostat was not sending signal for heat to the furnace. Found that the transformer was also very noisy and overheating. The flex gas line inside the unit is out of code and should be changed to iron gas pipe. System has subpar flip protections installed. This unit is also short on return and supply, ducts and I observed a static pressure of 1.18wc when it should be 0.5wc. There is lots of dust and dirt buildup on the returns and inside the blower wheel. The flu pipe is also out a code with an incorrect exit through the roof. Today we Band-Aid the system by replacing the thermostat and the air filter. Also replaced the thermostat for the main level. Tested fully and no failures at this time.

Installed new customer supplied toilet and capped off one sink water and drain in sink for hallway bathroom on main floor. Also reconnected gas line to stove, installed new kitchen faucet, cs garbage disposal, kitchen drain and disposal air switch for newly installed counter tops and sink. Hot water side straight stop replaced as well to correct hot water pressure on kitchen sink faucet. Water turned on to home to test and ensure proper function of all installs and repairs.

Upon arrival client stated that he had ..issues with cooling and heating for upstairs …single stage …no zoning …metal ductwork work in places …doesn’t seem to be enough return vents upstairs …* minimal flood protection * system is Trane ..Furnace is 2017 and AC 2020 …tested temp rise ..got about 48-50 degrees …did verify refrigerant was present in system as well ..did make some recommendations while here …* system is operating currently * client stated he’ll contact us when time is sufficient..

Charley and his group member were really friendly and helpful. We were anxious to have our PRV changed, and they showed up as early as they could, which we really appreciate. Our PRV was installed in a difficult angle to work with, but they managed to have it fixed without further damage on the ceiling. It was a satisfying experience.

I had a great experience with Nolan Kangas of TE Electrical. I had quite a bit of work done from upgrading the service to my home, as well as the lighting and adding a Tesla charger. Nolan did a great job of communicating every day what he would be working on and cleaning up at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend him and TE Electrical.
