Our client had purchased two Kohler toilets and needed them installed as well as a lavatory faucet. Client water pressure is in a good status with a PRV that was recently replaced by TE. Client has a water heater that is eight years old, and I informed the customer of it and they are consulting between themselves about when to change it. Both toilets and faucet was installed and checked for leaks. All work is documented by photos.

Home owner had a wet spot in his carpet near that was a toilet that had a small drip from the fill tub nut being lose and also the supply line needed to be tightened as well. We tightened this, which comes with no warranty unless supplied line is replaced. Once this was tightened no leaks were found in this area after corrective action was taken. We do recommend replacement of the supply line to be proactive on any additional leaks that could occur. Thank you for choosing Te certified.

Performed 1 system diagnostics: thermostat was not receiving power. I found a bad condensation pump. With the homeowner permission I replace the pump and tested the heating and cooling system. I ran the furnace and I performed a combustion analysis. I ran the furnace and monitored the home for carbon monoxide (0 ppm found). I tested the new pump after its installation to verify that it was operating. The hvac system was operating at the end of service call. I will email an estimate for a new thermostat (current nest thermostat is sticking) and a new pan safety switch for the secondary drain pan.

We have used TE services in the past and trusted the service plus had great customer service. This time we had a water flow valve installed. The plumbers were super friendly and did a nice job. We had an issue with the electrician who wasn’t willing to fish an electric line from a different power outlet since the first one he attempted was blocked inside the wall by a horizontal stud. Felt very uncomfortable dealing with this electrician who eventually gave in and fished the line through a wall with no blockage. I don’t think I’ll be calling TE for electrical work in the future.

Client complaint is the hall bathroom toilet is not refilling as it normally would. Performed an inspection and found fill valve failure at hall bathroom toilet. Checked water pressure at 38 psi at back hosebibb and front hose bib. Client explained we put in new tankless water heater with a new water pressure regulator last year in June. Adjusted water pressure up to a usable pressure of 57 psi. Recommend client change the fill valve and flapper at the hall bathroom toilet. Installed new fill valve and flapper with supply line at hall bathroom toilet. Tested with no leaks. Secured the handle to the toilet tank and lowered the flush tube below handle height to prevent flooding if fill valve completely fails. Fill valve and handle adjustments were completed as a courtesy. Tested all work with no leaks. Documented all work with pictures.

I would not use any other company for both electrical and plumbing issues. TE technicians arrive promptly and keep me informed of the problem and offer solutions.

James Steffey with TE Certified was by far the best electrician we have ever worked with. He listened to our needs and made some excellent suggestions. He worked with us to achieve the most we could with our limited budget. As this was a remodel with no attic access, we worked tirelessly to minimize the cuts needed in the sheet rock to run wiring and placed covers on any cuts necessary. Our townhouse was dark and now we have ample light, beautiful accent lightening, dimmers, and an outlet where we need it in our deck. I highly recommend him!
