Home owner had a new Deeper sink installed from Home Depot and since the install it wasn’t draining properly. Upon inspection of Home Depot install the connection to drain line in wall was higher than the outlet of the discharge for the sink. This is an improper installation. We rebuild and lowered the connection at correct height and as a courtesy we added an air admittance valve for flow. After installed we installed everything we function checked and leak checked. No leaks are present but sink will only drain properly when air admittance valve is removed. We do not advise removing the air admittance valve and leaving this off. Can produce a flood if mainline gets backed up. Due to improper venting on the system during original build of house for kitchen sink drain, if there are any signs of possible partial clogs this will not drain properly. It needs a vent through the roof on this side of this house to vent continuously with no issues, or just do periodic cleaning or wait until th

Hydro jet kitchen sink drain line after spot repair. Ran jetter 3 times though the kitchen sink cleanout with no blowback. Tested fixtures for 15 minutes and the kitchen drain is flowing great.

Home owner had a random leak on his old sediment filter. We installed a new customer supplied unit and once it was installed it was leak checked with no leaks. Checked the expansion tank and at this time it is functioning properly. It could have been the pressure release button to change the filters going bad. The new unit will fix this issue completely since the plumbing system is currently healthy. House pressure is also at 65 psi. Also recently miles did some work over here with changing the valve out in the guest bathroom upstairs, and the trim plate was loose, since this is after market it did not have screw holes so we just caulked it to the tile. We did also troubleshoot the toilet which had an ages flapper and fill valve in the toilet we recommend replacing. A quote was left for this work. Thank you for choosing te certified.

Replace cast iron kitchen group and branch. Remove necessary drywall ceiling for access. Plumb in new clean out at drain arm and install new 3” drain line w/ lateral c/o.

Today I ran a thermostat wire through the finished basement up to the main floor. with homeowners permission, I cut access panels to be able to pull the wire through the ceiling. As a courtesy, I pulled the homeowners Internet wire with the thermostat wire and left him ample amount coiled up in the floor, beneath the thermostat. Per homeowners request. On the next visit, I will need to bring a low-voltage two gang ring and a two gang blank plate.

Home owner had two leaking toilets that had failed seals and older fill valves. Gave options and home owner choose to do minor rebuild and emergency stop replacement on two toilets. Troubleshoot error code on eco bee thermostat, error code is aux heat running too long, aux heat will run when it’s 35 or below outside, with consistent temps between 20-40 all day this is normal. Set parameters to run aux heat 30 or below instead of 35.

Matthew has out today because his system for the second floor is not heating properly. Upon arrival, Matthew informed us that he did a little digging himself into the system and noticed that it is trying to light however it is not. After further testing out the system we’ve noticed that the gas valve has failed and needs to be replaced. We also checked the entire system and noticed that the blower motor capacitor is worn out and out of range. The blower wheel is dirty and needs to be clean. The evaporator coil is very rusted out and will cause future issues. There is some biological growth inside of the unit and we recommend installing a UV light. At the replacement of the gas valve system is heating at time of departure

At arrival on 01/08/2024: found the left side house main floor system located in crawl space not heating properly due to failed blower motor. Blower motor needs to be replaced in order for system to work properly.
