Performed second opinion diagnosis on whole home 19’ 4 ton unit. Found unit low on charge and coil also restricted at metering device. No te standard flood protection flood protection. Unit is out of warranty and Custimer declined estimate to replace system. Also offered homecare for one system. Unit in operating but not efficient. Will need to order parts as soon as Custimer approves quote.

Performed 1 system inspection on a 2023 Lennox single stage system on a zoned home. I ran the system in heat and cooling mode. I checked the emergency heat, zoning and all starting components. I checked the refrigerant levels. Findings: I found that the outdoor disconnect box was melted and badly damaged. The outside disconnect may fail and cause damage to the hvac system. I also found that the system has inadequate flood protection to prevent the hvac system from flooding the home and causing water damage. I also found that the system is only and single stage and should be a variable stage system; system will have a shorter life expectancy. Customer declined all repair options and declined to sign up for our home care member. I emailed estimates to the homeowner.

Tested system not heating for the whole home. Found a failed capacitor. Tested the unit with a new capacitor. Found the compressor and the fan motor are over amp Ing and also tested with meghometer and got bad readings from both windings. The capacitor in contactor, failing, condenser coil, dirty, no flood protections installed, ducks are extremely dirty, heat kit has failed, and blower is dirty with lots of growth inside the air handler. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Our refrigerator stopped working on a Sunday afternoon and we wanted to check the electric circuit since it was the second refrigerator in a year. TE Certified was out at 8:30 Monday morning. Nathan did a thorough test and even checked our lights in the garage. Thank you for saving the day and making us the first customer of the day.

Charley quickly isolated the problem and corrected it. This would be a 5 star review but the price of the visit was about three times what we felt it should be for a 12’’ piece of hose a few connectors and 25 minutes work.
