We arrrived on site to troubleshoot the outdoor ring security camera not working. We checked the power to the camera and the switch. These both locations were receiving the correct voltage. We reconnected the camera to the ring app and it is now working as it should. We fixed the wiring issues in the pool room. We installed wiring to turn the switch by the door into a 3 way switch that controls the pool table lights. We rewired the switch so that the ring camera gets constant power. We also installed a dual function for the basement lighting circuit. We took the square D breaker out of the panel and put the proper GE breaker in.

Paired new remote for ceiling fan to transmitter

Customer had noticed that the caulking around base had turned white. Previously told that it meant that there was a leak. I pulled under warranty. Found no signs of leaking. New wax, bolts, supply line and set. Sealed around base with silicone. Allow 12 hours for drying. The angle stop was replaced for the WC. Recommending that the water heater be replaced.

Changed mine shower cartridge with a new one.

Performed at home care on today’s visit. Also, the homeowner was having issues with Alex not working so we performed a troubleshoot and did the necessary repairs.

Replaced bad dimmer switch for chandelier
Great service!

Upon arrival, spoke to homeowner and homeowner stated that another company had made a diagnosis. He wanted a second opinion. I asked him to simply not tell me the other companies diagnosis. Looked at the system. It is a zone system that does the basement and the main floor of this home. It is zoned. Upon inspection of zone board there is no dat sensor and zone control is robbing power from furnace. Customer approved diagnostic and proceeded with diagnostic. Inspection of furnace shows that it is currently moving air. No reported issues in furnace at the moment. Moved to zone system and found one damper motor 3/4 of the way closed with no call. Tested for call on zone board and damper motor no call. Started both thermostats and damper Motor did not move. Appears to be the damper motor that controls the basement. Had good flow upstairs. I am finding a bunch of vents closed or blocked off. Definitely recommend opening all these vents and unblocking all vents. The systems need to flow prop

No heat and smelling plastic burnt in the house, when try to run the heat. Turned heat ON, at the thermostat and inspected furnace. Draft inducer motor is making a very loud noise (bearing noise) and blower motor is stuck (that can cause burnt smell in the house). Another company replaced blower motor, and the motor bracket is broken and the blower motor is hanging in the cage. Possible bent the motor cage also. I inspected the heat exchanger and it’s rusted and compromised. System is 9 years old , and other parts may have been affected , such as compressor, pressures, etc. I couldn’t have the ac working, because blower motor won’t spin. Due tot eh age and conditions of the system, highly recommend to up the system, be bring savings, safety and efficiency back to the house. Also, blower wheel is very dirty and system is out of warranty. Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommended), and set a lead for updating the only system in the house.

Fixed outdoor landscape lights. Landscaper accidentally disconnect half of the land scape lights in the back. I buried the existing wire around the connection point and make new connections. Tested the lights and they are now working properly.

Installed 20ft of pex and new hose bib

Completed 2 system home care. Changed filters. Checked blower wheels, capacitors, contactors, condenser coils, cleaned flame sensors, took amp draw on inducer motors, compressors, fan motors. Checked refrigerant levels main floor unit is low on Freon. Evaporator coil is leaking and both service valves are leaking refrigerant. Recommend replacing the full system due to age. Upstairs unit has slow drain line mighty pumped the unit multiple times with no luck unclogging it. Recommend adding water safeties in the attic and possible replacing drain line in the attic that is accessible. If drain can’t be unclogged. Recommend replacing return plenum that is not sealed well to the filter rack or furnace and sitting in the drain pan. System is low on refrigerant and only has 14 to 15 degree difference between supply and return. System needs refrigerant. Breaker is over sized for the unit and electrical wire is indoor wire.

Troubleshoot for bathroom light

Completed 2 system ac inspection. Changed filter with customer provided filter. The current filters are not the correct filter/size for the media cabinet. Blower wheels are dirty. Both condensing units are unlevel. Both refrigerant levels are normal. Recommend cleaning drain line for upstairs unit and extending it out away from the condenser to prevent it from sinking and becoming more out of level. Small amount of dust built up on outdoor coil. Main floor system. Has no flood protection and no drain pan. There is a drain on the floor near the unit but still recommend some kind of safety switch. Run capacitor for outdoor fan motor is right at the tolerance. Recommend replacing. Amp draw for outdoor fan motor was right at limit. Condenser coil is clean.

Customer noticed water leaking in to the garage. Basement bathroom is located on the opposite side. Customer stopped used WC and water started to dry up. I pulled WC and noticed that the wax looked like it had been slightly leaking. The bathroom was built on a raised platform. The WC flange is connected to a sanitary tee on its back which is not allowed by code. I reset and tested the WC. Sealed around base with silicone. Allow 12 hours to dry. Thank you for choosing TE Certified Plumbing
