Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical Service FAQs
On average you'll spend between $3,500-$12,000 for HVAC replacement services from local HVAC contractors near Lawrenceville, GA. The cost of an HVAC unit in your home can vary depending on several factors, including the brand and type of the HVAC system you’re installing, the size of the house, ductwork length, and the new unit's efficiency rating.
When an AC system becomes clogged with debris such as grass, dirt, and other contaminants, it can lead to an inability of your AC system to cool the home. To keep your cooling running smoothly, make sure you check that the AC coils remain clear of any blockages. Also, check your air filter. Dirty air filters cause your AC unit to operate at a lower efficiency which means it does not cool your house as well as it should.
The typical cost of a whole-home generator installation ranges from $2,000 to $6,500. This includes both the cost of the generator itself and the cost of installation. Of course, the exact cost will vary depending on factors such as the size of your home and the type of generator you are looking to install.

There are a few ways to fix an underground water line near Lawrenceville, depending on the specific issue. Some common methods include:
- Trenchless repair involves using a small hole to access the damaged pipe and then inserting a new pipe into the existing one. This method is recommended because it is less invasive and can be completed quickly.
- Pipe bursting involves breaking the damaged pipe and pulling a new one through the existing hole.
- Open trench repair involves digging up the damaged pipe and replacing it with a new one. This method is more invasive and time-consuming but may be necessary for severe damage.
Fixing an underground water line should always be done by a professional plumber or plumbing contractor with experience in underground pipe repair.

Tested system that was making a loud noise from the outdoor condenser. Found that both the upstairs and the downstairs level are having similar issues due to high refrigerant pressures. This is due to undersized ductwork for both units in the attic. Advise customer of findings and show the readings. At this point, we would recommend to downsize the systems to match the ductwork and the size of the home.
Today I performed a one system inspection on a Goodman furnace that was installed in 2019. I tested the unit as well as checked all its electrical components and got temperature readings. The unit is working fine at the moment. The only thing I can recommend is a blower wheel cleaning.

I replaced the customer provided ecobee thermostat on the upstairs system. I found black biological growth inside the upstairs air handler. The mainfloor unit has a failed capacitor and fan motor. Home53onwer declined to get an estimate to replace the mainfloor system and declined to have repairs done on the mainfloor system at this time. The homeowner had me leave the power off to the mainfloor unit (outdoor unit) due to the failed fan motor and capacitor and will use emergency heat for heating. I tested the thermostat on the upstairs system and verified that it was operating at the end of service call.
