Checked system for no heating and found that the furnace control board wasn’t working and needed to be replaced. replaced the board and tested the gas pressure and made sure the flue vent was cleared and everything is working as it should at this time, but recommend a protector to protect electrical equipment from possible power surges.

System was not working due to water in pan caused by rain triggering wet switch. Removed water from pan. Reset wet switch. Other safeties in good condition. Tested condensate pump. Customer will replaced Model 213 media filter. Recommend Apco-X Air Scrubber for advanced air purification. System is currently working.

Tested system not heating for the whole home. Found a cracked igniter that is not allowing the system to start up at this time. All of the components inside the system are very old and beginning to fail. Inspected the heat exchanger thoroughly with camera and found multiple cracks inside the heat exchanger. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Tested system not heating for main level. Found the inside of the unit is extremely dirty including the plenums, blower section, and all ductwork. Unit is overheating and tripping the high limit switch. No flood protections installed on this unit. Unit started up after testing from thermostat and found the flames were rolling out of the chamber on startup. Thoroughly inspected the heat exchanger and found multiple cracks along with pieces that have been covered up. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Hose bib on the side of the home is continuously dripping. I checked the water pressure to the home and got a reading of 120psi. The water pressure should be between 50-80psi. Thermal expansion valve located in the crawlspace has failed, there is also a thermal expansion tank that was recently installed with the water heater that has failed and is logged with water. I shut off the water to the home and drained the system. Replaced the pressure regulator valve, thermal expansion tank, and hose bib. Also removed the thermal expansion valve and capped the line. Turned on the water and pressurized the system, purged all air from the lines. No further leaks are detected. Water pressure is now 55psi.
