Investigated leak under kitchen sink. Opened floating ceiling to find daylight and a strong draft next to the ABS drain pipe. Concluded that the wetness was from rain after testing the kitchen faucet yielded no results. Performed a favor for homeowner. A quick connect fitting came loose by the refrigerator door. It was removed, cleaned and reinstalled. TE cannot warranty this repair, and if this leak occurs again, an appliance tech will need to be called.

Replaced 20x25x1 filter. During inspection of system, noticed that blower wheel is dirty. Water protection is poor. Recommend iWave Air Purifier for air purification. System is currently working.

For this job, I worked on starting new service to the home. replaced panel and installed brand new 54 space QO panel with dual function breakers as required by Gwinnett county. Ran new 4/0 SER service wire across the basement and is ready for the power drop so it can go into the panel and meter. Returning Monday to install smoke detectors in every bedroom and replace the ones that are already there. Our power drop is scheduled for Thursday which will be the day the meter main combo gets replaced.

Whole House Lightning Check-up. Includes a visual inspection of all major electrical fixtures, devices, and detailed panel inspection. Includes voltage and amperage check of circuits at electrical panel. Does not include plug-in electronics not affixed to the house. Does not include megohmmeter testing. FINDINGS: homeowner lost a neutral from the power company, causing an imbalance of voltage as high as 243 V to one phase and 7 V to the second. balance was fluctuating the whole time I was there. ended up turning off power to the home at the main breaker outside to avoid any damage from the imbalance. Inspected the panel and pulled out a few devices. Homeowner lost several power strips, light fixtures and possibly more from the surge and imbalance of voltage. left all my recommendations that will improve the safety of their home. Upon arrival customer stated that main level heating unit was not working properly. After inspection of system found several issues with the system. The blower motor has failed, the heat exchanger is cracked, the flue pipe has a power venter that is no longer working and flue pipe has failed as well. When the outdoor ac unit turns on and shuts down compress is making a very loud clucking noise on shutdown. System is 19 years old. Highly recommend updating aged equipment. Customer approved to speak with install supervisor about updating the aged equipment. Repairs could not be quoted due to cracked heat exchanger. System is condemned at this time.

This is the second time in a two-week period that I have used TE Certified for electrical projects.
