Complete a service call at the time of arrival. The client mentioned that the outdoor unit makes loud noise when it comes on after completing inspection. I found a piece of plastic stuck inside the condenser unit. Family was rubbing on it.

For this job, I completed a three system inspection. I tested all the units in heat to ensure that all the components and mechanisms were working properly. I found that all 3 units had a dirty blower wheel and lacked the proper flood protection. For the upstairs unit the drain line was not pitched properly. I showed the customer as well as provided an estimate. Due to the age of the master room system and main floor system I will recommend a replacement. The filter size for the master is 12 x 20 x 1. For the main floor 16 x 25 x 1. And for the upstairs 12 x 20 x 1. I also recommended Homecare to the customer.

Check system for heating issues and found that the thermostat for the main floor system isn’t a heat pump thermostat and will not work properly to turn on the emergency heat. It would need to be replaced. Also recommend adding a wet, switch and a safety switch for better flood protection.

Responded to no heat call for first floor unit. Customer stated that prior to our arrival thermostat was blank and she changed the batteries. Temperature is now displayed on thermostat but thermostat is not functioning properly. Cannot adjust temperature bypassed thermostat by jumping out. R and W wires, then proceeded to furnace. Found power switch to furnace in the off position. Turned switch on, watched furnace turn on. let furnish run for 30 to 35 minutes. Proceeded to check heat exchanger with camera was able to locate several cracked eyelets. Furnace is about 20 years old called Landlord and went over what was done today. Quoted for repairs, and also recommended system replacement landlord declined any repairs at this time and will have warranty company come out and check system.

I needed a doorbell replaced and contacted TE Certified. I had work done with them in the past so they sent out the same repair guy. David and Henry showed up in a timely manner, they gave me about an hour or so notice, and completed the work in a fairly short amount of time. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. I had an overall pleasant experience because of their professionalism and was satisfied with the results of their work.
