Job Locations and Reviews
Check system for noise and found that the defrost sensor was bad and the defrost board was bad. Replace them both and tested everything and everything is working as it should at this time.
Replaced draft inducer motor, 4x3 reducer and dual pressure switch’s on main floor furnace.
Upon arrival the customer showed us to the water heater located in the garage that was leaking from the base. Inspected all piping and confirmed the location of the leak is from the water heater itself. With customers approval we drained down, removed the old unit and installed a new 50 gallon gas water heater with necessary insulation and updated venting pipe.
Troubleshoot why the water heater wasn’t working.
Troubleshoot outlets not working and install a whole house surge protector
Install new fan assisted 120v humidifier Install uv light to keep Reroute flue vent to make room for unit on plenum TE certified plumber to install water line TE certified Electrician to pull new 120v dedicated circuit Reroute upstairs duct work to improve air flow Have plumber check gas line to gas lantern and gas line under oven(quote separately)

Home owner wanted to install a water line to a refrigerator. The current refrigerator does not have a connection. So we found nearest cold water line in 3/4 and connected from 3/4 to 1/2in to feed the ice maker box we are installing. About a 25ft run for the water line. Once everything was installed it was leak checked with no leaks present. We did also insulate the 1/2in from the 90 in the basement to help since it’s close to the exterior wall. Please note: main shut off valve to the house is old and could possibly leak if used. We turned off the water at the meter with requires a tee handle. We will leave a quote for replacement of the main shut off.
I was called out to Andre’s house for a Homecare maintenance on his main system. Andre Has lived here for about a year so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered that the ductwork is made of duct board and is dirty, the ac needs a superboost since the system is zoned, and the other systems in the house are from 2009 making them past normal life expectancy. We renewed the Homecare today and will be taking care of all systems in the home moving forward.
Replace smoke and combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.
Punchlist(2 dedicated 20a circuits for water flow shutoff and exercise equipment in basement on dual function breakers. Replaced all outdoor outlets with weather resistant GFCI receptacles and bubble covers. Replaced surge breaker from 30aDP to 50aDP for Ultra surge protection. Provided and installed new floodlight at existing location. All equipment functioning 100% upon completion of work.)
Moved closet switch.
Checked HVAC system for noise and found that the heat pump was running below freezing temperatures due to settings at the thermostats and changed the settings to stop running and use auxiliary heat when it gets too cold outside.
Installed Moen water monitoring unit and valve in the basement.
2014 Trane gas furnace located in the basement, serves the right side of the basement and the right side of the upper level. Came out to inspect supply plenum and coil and seal up the supply plenum. Sealed up supply plenum on system. Used bore scope camera to inspect plenum, coil, and heat exchanger. During the inspection I observed that the blower wheel is dirty, there is some organic growth on the supply plenum, rust on the evaporator coil, and a small amount of organic growth on the evaporator coil. I also observed that there are 2 cracks on the heat exchanger. I can only access 1 of the 4 cells on the heat exchanger, the other cells most likely have cracks as well. Today we sealed up the supply plenum and scheduled for an install supervisor to come out tomorrow morning to go over updating the equipment. All pictures are attached. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!
At arrival on 12/10/2024 whole home system was not heating, after diagnostic found the following: Issue: no heat System: whole home Finding: dirty flame sensor, weak run blower capacitor, dirty air filter, Bad furnace control board. Recommendations: clean flame sensor, replace run capacitor Flame sensor: 1.5uA DC Inducer motor: 1.6inchWC Replaced the furnace control board, replaced the run capacitor, replaced the filter, and added a wet safety switch. The supply temperature sensor is bad and we need to come and replace it. Part#32005180-0021822
Recall: customer stated that the 3rd floor heat was not working. After getting further details from the homeowner he stated that the upstairs furnace would run to long and over heat the space. I found nothing wrong with the system. The upstairs system does over heat the space a few degrees due to the upstairs being a very small space. I also ran the mainfloor and basement system and found no issues. Both heating systems were operating at the end of service call.
Single system inspection. Customer had recent remediation team out due to previous flood in home. System hasnt run In some time. Wants to make sure it’s operational and safe. System operating as it should. Inducer make intermittent/ inconsistent noise upon starting sometimes. Single wall flue pipe present. No flood protection, no IAQ. Slightly dirty ac, borderline dual capacitor. Evap drain pan has microbial/ biological growth on bottom of it suggest blue tube and Apco to be installed.
For this job customer stated that living room outlets were not working and that her father had just replaced all of them recently. After taking the first outlet out of the wall. The neutral wire was broken and not making a good connection with the outlet. Repaired the outlet as a courtesy and check the other three. All outlets function properly now. Installed customer supplied light fixture in the workout room.
At arrival on 12/04/2024: found main floor system not heating, after diagnostic, found that the system was shutting off intermittently due to low pressure, the capacitor is low, and the Contactor has some trace of burnt out. The TXV is also bad restricting the refrigerant flow. Checked the Heatpump for leak, couldn’t find any leak, checked the air handler and found a leak close to the TXV. System is out of warranty. Recommended to replace the evaporator coil, the capacitor, a wet safety switch, and replace the contactor in order to system to work . However, cannot guarantee if compressor is still good or not due to an internal clicking noise. Or replace the whole air handler and Heatpump because the compressor is making a clicking noise inside. Compressor might also be affected. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Toilet previously plunged, causing leaking from base. Wax ring was compromised. Pulled toilet replaced wax ring. Reset toilet, no leaks.
This price includes new refrigerant, which is highly recommended for long lasting life of new compressor. 7lbs 410a including line set.
