Job Locations and Reviews
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Performed main level diagnostic found failed run capacitor, dirty blower, inducer motor drawing high amps. Due to the age of the system recommended replacement of the system and due to the location system is not Serviceable. Customer wanted the bandaid option for now to get unit up and heating but would like n estimate to replace and reposition unit.
Home inspection
Pulled toilet and ran K 400 about 29,30 feet and pulled back roots and feminine products another plumbing company came out yesterday and didn’t put the toilet down properly. Toilet is somewhat messed up, not fully connecting to the floor. The customer needs to be quoted for a new toilet and a new flange since the flange is cracked.
Hydro jet grease out of kitchen drain line. Ran jetter 5 times and was able to run the whole length of the jetter cable through the line, tested fixtures for 15 minutes and verified there were no leaks or issues. Sink is draining great. The cold water supply line shutoff valve was leaking when the supply line was removed, the leak is not active when the supply line is attached, checked and verified this, I notified the customer before leaving.
Upon arrival technician did a full inspection on indoor and outdoor units. Customer wanted to know is the main unit oversized or undersized for there main and basement levels. After tech did a full evaluation on there single stage equipment that serves main level and basement level of the home. Technician found this system is not optimal in serving both levels due to undersize of equipment and undersize ductwork. Even if we were to go zoning we will need to upgrade from single stage equipment to variable stage equipment. Ideally for better comfort, stability, best performance, longevity and efficiency for main level and basement level will need to have its own separate units for each level. Customer wants to get back with us when the come to a decision. Thanks for choosing TE Certified if you liked your technician service today don’t hesitate to leave a 5 star review!
Pulled and reset half bathroom toilet to confirm proper condition of flange, reset with new wax ring, flange bolts, silicone, and shim to stabilize toilet.
For this job, we came to inspect a unit that was not heating. Upon inspection, we noticed that the customer previously disassembled the gas valve and several other components. We noticed that it was a 28 year-old system and the gas valve, burner assembly, indoor blower capacitor, outdoor contactor, outdoor capacitor needed to be replaced. We provided estimates for the customer, but we highly encourage that they look into getting a new system.
Ran dedicated 20 up circuit for office. Installed new dual function breaker. Installed two new outlets for the dedicated circuit, tested and cleaned up.

Rebuilt all 4 toilets in the house replacing: stop, supply line, fill and flush valve, and handle. Replaced prv.
Replaced Wire Between Outlets
Water line has ruptured inside of the wall behind the upstairs shower and pouring into the garage. Shut off the water to the home, replaced the pressure regulating valve, shower valve, and garbage disposal. I do recommend reworking the plumbing pipe underneath the kitchen sink so that it will drain properly. No further leaks detected.
Replaced water heater with code upgrades
Install New Light and Relocate/Replace Fan
Performed HomeCare routine maintenance inspection on 2 y/o Trane furnace located in crawlspace. Checked amp draws. Cleaned flame sensor. Cleared pressure switch tubing. Replaced Model 213 media filter. Noticed that condensate pump had failed. Replaced condensate pump. No form of water protection present. Recommend inline float switch for water safety. Condenser electrical components are good. Informed customer of findings. System is currently working.

Installing mobile link on Generac 36kw standby generator
Tested system not heating for the main level. Found a failed control board for the system that was not sending power through to 24 V supplying the thermostat. Jumped out the power and system was still not turn on because of failed relays within the control board tested all the other components of the system, due to age and condition many other parts of the system are showing where and could fail soon. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
For this job, we installed an eyebolt and repairs the SEU wire by adding a new weather head and securing it.
