Job Locations and Reviews
Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns. Performed 1 system diagnostic. Found blower dirty, clogged and dirty filter, cracked ignition, dirty condenser coil, ac disconnect bypassed for outdoor unit , pitted contactor , and failed dual run cap. Customer choose all necessary repairs. Repairs completed and operations tested. Unit is now heating no issues found.
Customer electrical bill was high due to system being run on aux heat and not on heat. System has a dirty blower wheel, no water safeties, light rust building up on evaporator coil,
Customer had another leak in kitchen ceiling below laundry room. Ran to rinse and spin cycles. Ran water in drain directly from supply line for six minutes. Cut open wall, inside wall was dry. Only evidence of a previous leak was water streaks on back of washing machine. Tested water pressure, water pressure was 90 psi. Customer chose to replace pressure regulator valve. While removing PRV, two pex fittings started to drip, replaced those sections as a courtesy. Set water pressure to home at 65 psi.
Full system Two supply 1 return 2 plenums Flu advanced Duct mods and insulating Breaker will need a 25 amp seaman breaker to pass code. Will need warranty to install at a later date
Replaced aerator for pot filler
Breaker tripping
Replace the faulty dimmer in the dining room, and replace dangerous switch in downstairs bathroom
Home owner has a recalled gas control Valve on his 50 gallon natural gas water heater. The pilot light went out the other day so we recommended changing this control unit out, since it was recalled because of this exact issue. We installed the White Rogers gas control valve and when we leak checked the water heater the boiler drain was not sealing 100% so it was replaced as a courtesy. After both components were installed they were leak checked with no water or gas leaks, as well as function checked. Thank you for choosing te certified.
Troubleshoot outlets throughout the house not working
Performed 1 system heating diagnotics on a 2008 trane furnace. I found that the blower motor had failed and the blower wheel has taken damage. I recommend that the blower motor and wheel get replaced. I also found that the heat exchangers are missing screws and are in poor condition and maybe a fire and/or carbon monoxide hazard. I emailed repair estimate the homeowner and went over the findings with them. They have setup a time with a install supervisor to get an estimate for a new furnace/AC system.
Tested system not heating well for the whole home. Two zones for upstairs and downstairs levels. Found lots of rust inside the unit and noticeable water damage. The zoning does not have a bypass to help the zones breathe. Tested refrigerant levels and found low on 410 a refrigerant. Customer of findings and told him that we can do a leak search to find where the refrigerant is leaking from. After that we can write up an accurate price for the repairs. Also informed him that the best option for this style system would be to replace it with a two-stage or variable speed system. Customer did not want to proceed with anything at this time.
Home owner had a severe leak on his main waterline after line entering through foundation wall. We made a new penetration and cut out the damaged section of piping, then installed new wrapped piping and reconnected to line inside. Then it was hydraulic cemented on both inside and outside walls, and outside we added an extra layer of protection with a layer of tar. Once this was complete we pressurized the system and had no leaks present. Thank you for choosing te certified
Troubleshoot kitchen circuit not working.
Removing and installing new sauna heater unit and replacing a switch
Rebuilt both toilets in home.
Install a new 240V circuit for a car charger in the garage. The electrical panel is in the finished basement. This estimate includes a 40A GFCI breaker, 6/3 romex, a junction box and a NEMA 6-50 receptacle. To make space for the double pole breaker I will need to relocate the bottom left circuit breaker to the right side. To be able to route the wire to the garage multiple areas will need small pieces of drywall removed to install the circuit. TE will remove the pieces and replace them neatly, or use access panels depending on the situation. Finish and painting will need to be done by others.
Installing (1) Single Pole Switch for the Dinning Room Splicing the burnt wires
Electrical Troubleshoot (Kitchen Outlet) & Electrical Inspection for the dryer Installed new 3p dryer and gfci outlets in the kitchen
For this job, we performed a two system inspection. Both systems were the same age and the exact same system. We cleaned the flame sensor inspected the blower wheel the blower capacitor we checked the heat exchanger as well as checked temperatures. We noticed that for both systems it had a dirty blower wheel and a bad blower capacitor. We also noticed that in both systems it did not have the proper flood protection that TE recommends. We presented the estimate to the customer in which he said he will have to think about it and speak it over with his wife. We charge the customer only $59 due to the confusion on the coupon.
Estimate to install fan
Removed cap on 1/2 gas line behind dryer to install 90 and new gas shutoff and made final connection to dryer. Turned gas on and bubble tested to ensure proper function.
Tankless flushed for 45 minutes then flushed through with fresh water. Turned tankless back on to test and ensure proper function.
Performed 1 system cooling diagnostics on a 2007 Goodman AC system that cools the upstairs of the home. I found that the secondary drain pan was full of water. I checked the air filter and found that it was dirty. I removed the air filter and ran the system in cooling mode at the thermostat. I verified that the blower motor ran. I went outside and verified that the compressor and condenser fan motor were operating. I checked the refrigerant levels after the unit had ran for an extended amount of time. I found that the unit was low on r22 refrigerant due to a possible refrigerant leak (superheat was high and the coil temp was well below freezing). I went back into the attic and checked temperature splits (only 12.5 degrees). I also observed that the drain lines appear to have biological growth development on the them. I went over the findings with the homeowner and the homeowner requested to get an estimate to replace the upstairs hvac system. I gave the homeowner a ballpark estimate to
Inspection report stated that the water pressure was high. I teasted the system and found that the water pressure was 130psi. Replaced prv and thermal expansion tank. Set pressure to 65psi. No other problems seen with plumbing system.
